Believe it or not, this business began with a flat tire. Owner Manuel Ayala had a dream and a nail on his tire while traveling from Phoenix, AZ to El Paso, TX. 

When a man told him his tire couldn’t be fixed, he traveled back to Phoenix with a spare (we do not recommend you do that) and an idea that would change his life.

After purchasing four used tires he believed he could start a small business. He didn’t know the first thing about tires, but his ambition to become somebody was greater. First, it was 20 tires that he sold, then 60, soon he had rented a small storage that held his first 600 tires. 

The original location was established in 1988 in Tempe, Arizona. The journey had only begun, wanting to be closer to his family in Mexico, he moved to the Sun City of El Paso, TX. 

After searching for the perfect place, Manuel opened La Llanta Co. Tires & Wheels, Inc. on one of the busiest and most popular streets in El Paso. 

With over 30 years of experience, located at 270 N. Zaragoza Rd. (in front of the railroad tracks!) at only five minutes away from our sister town Cd. Juarez our service surpasses borders. 

Open six days a week our priority is our customers and their safety. We’ve sold every kind of tire, and fixed 1,000+ flats, but here at La Llanta Co. we realize that good tires keep your car happy, but our quality service keeps you driving back to visit us.
